Channel 4 film, 2007, what’s the title?!?

I saw a film on late-night Channel 4 in 2007, as part of a series of new British films. It was about two men who are burglars, and they go round looking for people’s ‘secret boxes’ of possessions to delve into the personalities of the occupants of the houses they are breaking in to. It was filmed in black and white and had a fantastic twist at the end, but I can’t remember the title! please help!
I think it was made in either 2006 or 2007, it had a British cast although i didn’t recognise either of the male leads, and one was teaching the other how to be a burglar. It was a Channel 4 sponsored film I think, and it was on Channel 4, not Film4.
Yes I checked their website but it only has the most recent releases, unless you search by title (which I can’t do as I don’t know the title!)
