Left 4 Dead or Far Cry 2?

I want to buy a new PC game but the choice between these two have been very conflicting to me. I like the setting, story, and realism they put into fc2, although i heard the game has a some faults but it still look cool to me. L4D from what i played from the demo was a fantastic co-op game but it wasn’t exactly what i was hoping for. Im leaning towards fc2 but im still not entirely sure, can someone give me a recommendation before i regret my choice on which.

It depends on how much co-op you’re going to play, and whether or not any of your friends have either game. online play is always much more fun when you play with someone you actually know. Get whichever game more of your friends have.
If you’re leaning towards more co-op than single player then get L4D, if not, stick to FC2.
