Fantastic 4 Cup
Is it normal that my 19 mth old is barely eatting one small meal a day?
He has always been a fantastic eatter. He actually loves eatting, but for the past week he has ate a little breakfast and had the tiniest of nibble for lunch and dinner. By tinniest nibble, I mean like 1/4 cup of cheerios for breakfast, one piece of sandwich cheese for lunch, and half a pb&j for lunch. He does not appear to be sick, I am not taking him to the doctor so don’t even suggest it (for illness anyway) because he has no fever, his poop is normal, he is peeing just fine, he has no mood alterations. Is this normal for them to just randomly stop eatting?
I’ll tell you one thing. When my son was that age (he’s now 22 months) he did the SAME thing b/c he was getting his molars and his poor little mouth hurt. I didn’t know at the time his mouth hurt but noticed he wasn’t eating so… that could be the problem. I would try to get a look in his mouth and I bet that’s what’s going on.
