Fantastic Four
Created in 1961 to rival the Justice League of America, the Fantastic Four centered around the adventures of genius Reed Richards, his fiancé Sue Storm, her brother, Johnny and Ben Grimm's ill-fated space mission friend. As a result of being affected by cosmic rays, the four began developing new skills. Reed could stretch and began calling themselves Mr. Fantastic, Sue can become invisible and therefore was called the Invisible Woman first, then the Woman Invisible, Johnny ability to transform his body into flame gave rise to the name of the Human Torch, Ben Grimm was transformed into a giant creature from a rock called The Thing.
Fantastic Four villains included Golden Age Namor good guy the Sub-Mariner, now re-imagined as a bitter ruler of Atlantis, and Doctor Doom, its foe more frequent. Other enemies included the alien shape-shifting Skrull race, and the Mole. The Galactus Trilogy also introduced the public to the planet eating Galactus and his servant, then, the Silver Surfer.
His first adventures marked a new era in comics, not only because their identities were public, but also because the Fantastic Four were a group of superheroes fighting each other first. Other groups, such as the Justice League or Justice Society, traditionally, if behaved very politely to one another at all times. The Fantastic Four comics were about family members, and like any family, featured intense arguments between members.
Creator Stan Lee explained that this way, "And the characters would be the kind of characters I personally could relate to: they would be flesh and blood, they have their faults and weaknesses, would be fallible and feisty, and – most important of all – inside their colorful feet, boots costumes they still have clay. "
This animosity between members occasionally led the team to stop and be replaced, the most notable example where the She-Hulk filled as a substitute for long-term thing. Tensions were particularly strained during the time period in which Sue Storm has developed a passion for ex-enemy the Sub-Mariner, making Reed Richards jealous.
Despite their tensions, the Fantastic Four has always managed to repair itself. Reed and Sue married and had two children together. Still thus, the crossover Marvel super-event Civil War threatened to fracture the Fantastic Four permanently. After her husband's involvement in cloning Thor, Sue Storm left the group and followed his brother to join the anti-Superhero Registration that was against Reed. Ben Grimm declined to take sides in the war that divided the family. Surprisingly, Sue Reed goodbye note to let you know how she was angry with him but also ended with a reminder that she loved him and a plea to "please fix this."
After the Civil War, however, Reed and Sue met her family and began the healing process. Although history says that probably will future disputes, is also a good bet that the Fantastic Four will pull away and they remain whole.
