Fantastic 4 Comic Book History

Batman – Part I
Making its debut in the May issue of Detective Comics in 1939, Batman has been around more than any other traditional superhero, beyond Superman. For this reason, both the history and personality depicted in Batman comics was transferred several times.
The original Batman, created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, was modeled after Zorro. This version of Batman was a very somber character because, as Bob Kane, explained: "I always thought it would be more exiting for Batman to work outside the law rather than within it. I think growing up in the Bronx, which used to be vigilantes to survive. "
It is then that the original Batman was much more cruel peers who would later become mainstream. Often carrying weapons, Batman showed no remorse for harming or killing villains.
Still, several important components were introduced during the first year that would become mainstays of the Batman universe, including the famous Batman's utility belt, where it was able to hide your gadgets and expensive vehicle Bat first. Also during this first year, the origin of Batman was first revealed. Family history of a boy whose parents were killed in an assault would be a wrong topic to be expanded, but the fundamentals were still present in 1939 as a small Bruce Wayne swears that he will "avenge the death spend the rest of my life warring on all criminals. "
The introduction of Robin in Detective 38, the following year, he began to soften the image of Batman a little. The first of four Robins, Dick Grayson was presented as "an interesting figure, whose incredible gymnastics and athletics made will surprise you … laughing, struggling young daredevil who scoffs at danger like the legendary Robin Hood, whose name and adopted the spirit of Robin … Wonder Boy. "
Dick Grayson was the first and oldest Robin, but he was not the last. After the character has been updated for your own superhero, Nightwing in the mid-eighties, he was replaced as Robin Jason Todd first, followed by Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown.
In his role as mentor to Robin, Batman became gradually the figure of the boy's father and the focus of the book was their relationship. The relationship of Batman and Robin came under fire from Fredric Wertham in his book Seduction of the innocent. A critical commentary on the comics and the potential damage that could result in children, Seduction of the Innocent claimed that Batman and Robin were involved in a homosexual relationship.
Batman comics retaliated this charge by adding a "family" character. The Bat-Mite, Bat-Dog, Batwoman and Batgirl were finally added to minimize called homoerotic tension between Batman and Robin.
This family of growth and increasing inclusion of the most fantastic elements of outer space in Batman comics has led to a much brighter disposition than the Batman of the early years. The brightness of the 1950s and early 1960s took a turn for the next field the debut of the Batman television series in the mid-sixties. Although the change in direction initially lifted sales, while the television series of short period ended, the sales of comics plummeted.
Because of low sales, DC, once again changed the course of the Batman comics. Writer Denny O'Neil claim that he was trying to recapture the feeling of flesh early Batman comics when he took office in 1969.
