WW3 (or 4): Luxury that will be lost for you to preserve what makes this possible?

It seems likely that we are in front of a decade of world war. Over the last decade, luxury is fantastic common three-car garage (not big enough to hold all the cars) cellular phones, high-speed, always-on network PCs, TVs, gigantic, so much food that most of us are too fat … You get the idea. If indeed a world war breaks out, and I think I have the luxuries that [there] may be lost? Mr. Spin: France has already sold – is demographically doomed to be the bread. Mikew: Please clarify, how did that happen?

You know it's really a world war when the fuel is rationed. Persian Gulf, Venezuelan oil both could be cut. Command North Korea could cut the Alaskan pipeline, but that is more Tom Clanyish. Easy to fly, unless you count that as was now, International travel would more or less stopped. Imports from China if China was the enemy. TVs and big houses, if any, will you still, but new stuff would be limited.
