Fantastic 4 Bulge

House Reconstruction HELP!?
Hello!
we recently purchased a gigantic 2 floor home with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.. 2 living rooms. a dining room, kitchen and some other rooms i forgot to mention. its located in Xenia, Ohio.
and for $6000 !!! its pretty cheap but needs a lot of work.
now I’m an architecture student, so i know a few things about construction, decoration an all. but I have no experience what so ever in reconstruction, i do have a couple of friends to help me.
the HELP part.
can you tell me where can I get cheap material and what types of material that are cheap by nature, that can be used to cover or replace old bulging out dry walls?
in general what are the methods to fix up a house with as little money as possible. and still have to quality?
also if you can guide me to some websites, or videos/documentaries. or even books about reconstruction that would be fantastic!
also the house is made of wood, no bricks.
thanks!!

Also plan on visiting Salvage Yards to try and keep “This Old House” as close to “Show Room” condition as possible! If there is one thing old house purists hate is for Quick Buck Shyster’s to go in and “Re-muddle” a Historic Treasure!
Leave the High Skill tasks to those experienced Tradesmen…but you can certainly save money by doing the Low Skill tasks yerself, Painting, Demolition…
