Fantastic 4 Bed Sheets

My boyfriend has just dumped me by text. Why do people do this?

We had just spend a lovely, normal, family orientated weekend together at his house with his son. I am like a second mother to his son who I adore and I know he adores me. This man reckons I give of psyhcic vibes which are not good for him? Eh? the only vibe I gave off was when I said we needed to wash his sons bed sheets as he had wet the bed and this was said with respect because of how delicate a subject it is. Why has it taken him to so long work it out. He had a nervous breakdown 4 years ago which he reckons was caused by his ex-wife and has been off tablets for four months. We have been together for three months during which time things have gone between being fantastic to good in that range and getting better. I was completely taken by surprise. Why do people dump others by text and then pass the blame onto them instead of being up front and honest. I thought this type of behaviour was for teenagers (no disrespect teenagers meant honestly). He is 44 and I am 42.

He is immature, and will probably never grow up. You are obviously a very lovely, mature, caring lady who took his son under your wing and treated him with as much respect and love as you would have shown to your own children. This man obviously has issues that nobody else can solve. I hope that you realise that you are probably better off out of his life as it would probably have ended in your tears anyway. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, put on some lippy, go out with the girlfriends and bitch about him. Your worth more..
