Whats Russell Brand gone and done now?
Apparently he presented the MTV awards and upset all the Americans by poking fun at some little US boyband who wear virginity rings.
For one thing, I’m surprised Russell Brand has been accepted into America at all, his style of humour is very British and eccentric, and I’m not sure how the Americans would take to it, OK the New Yorkers would possibly love it but I can’t see the midwest and south really taking to a backcombed, eyeliner-wearing real life Captain Jack Sparrow with a fast wit and an often irreverent tongue.
So what happened? And what does America think of “our Russell” anyway? He’s equally “loved” or “hated” in the UK . . .
saw a video of his performance on You Tube and thought he was great (I love Russell, he’s so funny!) I really don’t see what was so offensive about his joke, it was actually pretty funny, beleive me he says a LOT worse on British TV!!
