Captain America:The ONLY Captain America?
Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America died earlier this year.There has been rumors amok about who will take up the mantle as the next Captain America from the Winter Soldier Falcon,well the list goes on.Later we learn that the Avengers are gonna encounter the WW2 Superteam the Invaderswhich includes a younger version of who else? Captain America.Captain Marvel died of cancer 20 years ago and somehow thru a time rift a younger version of him came thru.Is it possible that the younger version of Steve Rogers will replace his older deceased self as The Avengers Captain America?Also is not that saying that Steve is the one true Captain America and that no one can replace him?
Possible but not very likely. Marvel already tried replacing Iron Man with his younger self in the mid-’90s and that turned out horribly. The only thing worse was the Ben Reilly Spider-Man with the blue hooded sweatshirt.
Judging from Brubaker’s comments, the buildup of Bucky as a major character and the redesigned costume, the new Cap will be The Winter Soldier. Also, don’t forget that Cap asked Iron Man to “save” Bucky.
