i want to play football/soccer in america?

i am 19 and currently playing semi pro football over here in england, i have been in county teams, captained many teams, involved with an academy side for a while but had to leave for personal reasons and have been told i can go very far in the game by many coaches. i want to go to america to play over there as ive always wanted to live there anyway. i am putting together a player resume and going to send it to many usl1 and 2 clubs as this is the only way i can see to get me ito the game over there, but im slightly worried about visas and green cards. could anyone shed any light on the situation please?

I’d say that’s a nice idea, considering most semi-pro english players could probably walk on to any MLS team here in America.
