Captain America Nomad Comic

Question to comic fans….?

Is Captain America dead, I stopped buying comics ages ago (it was costing too much) but I still like to keep up with what’s going on. I heard Captain America Got Shot, but I was asssuming it was just a publicity stunt (like when Superman was killed). So is he back yet?
Oh and while we’re at it, what’s happened to Jack Monroe (Nomad) he was my 2nd favourite character (after Daredevil), but last I knew he got shot back in 2005. Is he still dead?
I’d love to know what’s going on.

Captain America was shot by a sniper at the end of the Civil War series when the anti-superhero registration faction that Cap led was defeated. Most likely this will end up being a publicity stunt and Cap will come back. After all, Captain America earns too much money for Marvel for the character to remain dead. But for now it is unclear how/when he will be revived.

Nomad is still dead at this point.
