Captain America is not in X-Men: Origins?

I may be wrong, but do not fight in World War II, some time together? If so, he should not be in the movie at some point? I dunno, just seems like it belongs to the movie, and from the looks of the cast on IMDB and all the trailers so far he is nowhere to be seen or referred to. What gives?

In the movie, Captain America does not appear because he was taken into account the film.
