after three years of high school, my GPA is only 3.43 a year Freshmen Sophomore Year 3.4-3.1-3.8 SAT-2050 junior year I took all honors classes fresh. and the second year and then the penultimate year I took AP classes and two others were honor. Im part of a club called ACC (junior statesmen of America) I am a leader or adolescents AFA Foundation (alzheimer of America, to increase awarness disease and stuff) I play guitar and have done many orchestras in the state sports: hockey college senior-4x-2x Tennis captain varsity my father also move to Washington DC during the week to work and is only two days home on weekends, so I learned to be more mature and "man of the house", I think. I tried to do very well junior knowing that I blew my first two years and next year I will try and do even better. i also live in Massachusetts

It really depends what you want to major in. For example, one of my friends were Santa Barbara City College in the first place and is transferring at UCSB as a key communication. He does not need the highest GPA I need to transfer (I'm a bio major). 2: Cali schools are a little confused (), Especially on UC's out of state, all students add about 10 000 extra fee if you are a student out of state, so you will be looking at 35 + K per year of schooling. If you are Hell Bent on going to a school in Cali, I really suggest going to a California Community College for their first 2 years of college that would help you 'win' a student of inter-state permanent (goodbye, extra 10K!), and if you're worried about getting you should know that SBCC has a program of direct transfer to UCSB as you maintain a reasonable average (2.5 +),,, so if you're worried with your high school GPA, which may be the best way to go. You should also know that because of the EXTREMELY drastic cuts in the system at the University of California (especially in the UC system), all the universities here are becoming more and more selective about the students accept it oh and California residents are given on the first choice of candidates in the state.
