Captain America Issue 10

You think I'll get into Stanford?
Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of being accepted into Stanford? Acedemics: I did a incredible job in grade 9 and 10, but I have an average of 90% in the first half of 11th grade, then an average of 97% in the second half. I hurt on my SAT, but I'm doing a retake Sports: i play soccer (captain and co-founder of team highschool) in the list of recruitment for the Stanford football team, but not recruited to volunteer geographical issues: more than 50 hours under my belt (I know it isn't much) of the story: I was kicked out of my Ethiopia country during the war in Eritrea, Ethiopia, since my paerents are from countries of opposition that I had to live, then in six cities and four different countries, I also had to attend four different highschools whch is one of the reasons I just settle and did well in my junior years, if not then what is the next best thing in western North America (excluding universities UC)
Honestly, no – I do not think you have no chance at all at Stanford. His grades are good – but not up to the standards of Stanford, and you say that your test score is low. You need of SAT scores for 2200/2400 and should be the percentage of first two or three of his high school class with many honors and AP classes to qualify to get into Stanford. Be qualified is not enough. They reject ten candidates qualified for every one to accept. Go ahead and apply to one or two elite schools (especially if you can improve their grades and test scores), but apply to other schools too. I see you going for a large public university or a private university ranked somewhere between # 20 and # 50. I do not see you get into a top 20 school unless you really improve.
