What was the state of cryogenics World War II?

If Captain America frozen in ice or the boys from Brazil, stories of Nazi cryonics relive the past abound in science fiction. What was the current state of technologies for cryogenic temperature during WW II era? It would have been possible for Germans created underground bunkers Alpine able to freeze and preserve super-soldiers for a future war? In fact, Walt Disney was not frozen. This is absolute certainty. I totally disagree that cryonics is now irreversible.
