can i get into Loyola marymount or uc sanat barbara with these grades? if not, where else can i go near L.A?
after 3 years of high school, my GPA is only a 3.43
Freshmen year- 3.4
Sophmore Year- 3.1
junior year- 3.8
SAT- 2050
I took all honors classes fresh. and sophmore year, and then junior year i took 2 AP classes and the rest were honors.
Im part of a club called JSA ( junior statesmen of america)
Im one of the leaders or AFA Teens ( alzheimer foundation of america, raising awarness for the disease and stuff like that)
I play the viola and have made many orchestras in the state
Sports: hockey- 4x varsity senior captain
Tennis- 2x varsity
my dad also commutes to Washington D.C during the week for work and is only home for 2 days on the weekends, so ive learned to be more mature and “man of the house” i guess. I tried to do really well junior knowing i messed up my first two years and next year ill try and do even better.
i also live in MAssachusetts
Talk to your school counslor, he/she should have the fastest contacts to these schools to see what you need to do for your SR year or if you even have a chance. I commend you ability to stay focused with your father being gone so much. Good luck to you and keep up the good work.
