IF I have Osama bin Laden’s severed head…how do I claim the US$25M reward?

His capture is worth US$25M, according to the FBI.
If a certain person has the actual severed head of Osama bin Laden, and walks into a US embassy with it. What are the odds of this person receiving the actual bounty money? Or will he never see a dime or it?
Maybe the embassy staff will take it off him up-front – then claim he never handed it in! Its not like the bounty-seeker would have any option.
Or maybe he will be discreetly “disappeared” to save the U.S the embarassment? Then stage some Hollywood-worthy footage of an “All-American” Blonde, Blue-Eyed, 6”4 Captain America figure picking up the severed head, fit for broadcasting on FOX?
A smarter bet would to submit evidence of death, like some blood, hair samples right?
Your best bet here would be to go to the media. Walking into a TV station with Bin Laden’s head would make you an instant celebrity and with the information made public it would be rather difficult to make it suddenly disappear. The trick is never to give up possession of the head until all the facts have been verified. The TV station would be thrilled to do that for you. (You might want to think about using a freezer).
