Captain America Dead Issue

When did these superheroes die?

Shortly after Civil War, in Marvel Comics, Captain America was killed, gunned down by someone. What issue was it that Captain America was shot dead? Me, I read more of the X-books (X-men, X-force, X-factor, etc.) and I’m just adding some other Marvel Comics to my collection. What comic was this in that Captain America was shot dead? Since when was Thor dead too? This happened before Civil War, and after Avengers Disassembled, but what comic was Thor killed in? Any idea on when these two characters were killed???

Captain America was shot in Captain America (Vol. 5) #25.

Thor was killed along with the rest of Asgard in Thor (Vol. 2) #85 which was part of the “Avengers Disassembled” story from 2004. The full “Ragnarok” story arc takes place in Thor #80-85 and all six issues can be expensive and hard to find.
