Captain America Comics Dies

Marvel Civil War?

I've recently gotten into comics, but it looks like the Marvel Universe as it was turned inside out! Can anyone give me a good summary of the Civil War so I can catch up? Causes? Effects? Major events? And what's with Captain America die?

The New Warriors battle a group of villains (Cobalt Man, Speedfreek, Coldheart, Nitro), in Stamford, Connecticut while filming a reality show. Nitro explodes, killing over 600 people (including school-age children and all the New Warriors except Speedball). The rest of the superheroes appear in Stamford to search for survivors. Public opinion against superhumans turns, giving impetus to the Superhuman Registration Act days later. Angry civilians attack the Human Torch out of a club. After Captain America refuses to join a SHIELD Strikeforce created to fight all the super-human, in violation of the law, he becomes a fugitive and a form of underground resistance called Avengers "Secret." This team includes Hercules, Hawk, and Danny Rand (who is acting as Daredevil). Luke Cage and the Young Avengers also participate. [Tony Stark (Iron Man), which supports the act, registered superhumans organizes and makes plans to support the act with Reed Richards and Hank Pym. Spider-Man unmasks in a press conference at the behest Stark as a demonstration support for the act. The X-Men declare its official neutrality in the conflict. The great battle between the two sides culminated in the appearance of a cyborg clone of Thor, killing the secret Avenger Bill Foster. Sue Richards, a member of the team of Stark, the Avengers Secret advocates blast clone of Thor lightning, giving them a chance to escape. In the aftermath of the fight, several Secret Avengers join leave Stark. Meanwhile, Johnny Storm and Sue Richards join Captain America. Stark, Richards and Pym Thunderbolts the project to their cause. After contemplating the brutal death of Bill Foster and the registration of tourism infra-Pro prison in the Negative Zone, Spider-Man decides he made a mistake, and after a battle with Stark and the Thunderbolts, he runs away and joins the Secret Avengers. The Secret Avengers invade the Negative Zone prison, where Hulkling, who was disguised as Hank Pym, the hero frees prisoners from their cells to join the fight. Cloak teleports fighters to New York City, where Namor and an army of Atlanteans arrive to fight alongside the Secret Avengers, while the Champions, the clone of Thor, Captain Marvel and strengthen the team of Stark. Like Captain America is about to strike a final blow to Stark, police, paramedics and firefighters try to handle it. Realizing how much damage the fight has cost the people he wants to protect, Captain America orders his team to withdraw, and he surrenders. In the aftermath of event, the U.S. president grants amnesty to all those who opposed the Superhuman Registration Act (except Captain America who is sent to the prison), Tony Stark is appointed the new director of SHIELD, Maria Hill relegation to the status of deputy; 50 States Initiative, which puts a team of superheroes in each state, the release and the Mighty Avengers to assemble a new team. Some heroes choose to move to Canada (resulting in the creation of the second Omega Flight) stay underground and some, including New Avengers
