Comics Captain America?

Hi, I've never really been a big comic reader, but I really want to read comics on the Captain America now? any suggestions? I know there was a series in the 1940s, and also from 1997 to 2006, and which also tips on where to get them? Thanks

I highly recommend the series going on now, the series started in 2006/2006? and is around issue # 54 buy now. any store Local comic will store the draft of the Trade (graphic novels) or Barnes and noble or amazon. The first volume is called Winter Soldier and just keep going from there, all Air comic written by Ed Brubaker and their is even a bus to collect the question 25 first that retail for about $ 75.

New – Bucky is the name of several fictional characters, masked superheroes in the Marvel Comics universe. The original, James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby as a sidekick character in Captain America Comics 1 (March 1941), published by Marvel’s 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics. In 2005, the original Bucky was brought back from supposed death as the Winter Soldier. In 2008, he became Captain America after the death of Steve Rogers.
