Captain America Collections
Where should I start with a collection of comics?
I have recently found the desire to start reading comics again. I probably would not has read a comic in almost 10 years, but I want to start again. I am a big fan of Batman and Captain America, but I'm open to any thing. What are some good things to start? I'm not really concerned with the idea of collecting as I am with the stories, so I just want to get graphic novels. Thanks for all the advice! Ok so far thanks for the great advice everyone! I've heard from almost every Batman who all cite and all sound as good (the Captain America too). I also found the Batman Chronicles on Amazon, and I was just wondering if this was something well in check
To Captain I would try to get America Omnibus, which contains the 1-25 issue of the new series. As for Batman, I am a current player, I would start at RPI, Battle for the hood, and then the new stories. I would also get Batman and Robin. If you want a suggestion for a new book, Green Lantern's book is very strong. Great writing, great art, and a great character. To get there, I would stay throughout the Renaissance and hardcover from there.
