Why did a Captain America movie yet?
They made many films from comics lately. I know they did a Captain America movie in the early 90s, but there is some other reason did recently or are there plans to make one? There is one in the works. Will coincide with that of other Marvel Comics Movies being made and eventually the whole thing is to be worked into an Avengers movie with all the Marvel characters. Look in the Comingsoon.net. The official date is sometime in 2012.
