Civil War: Spiderman Unmasked
In the huge universe-wide crossover spiderman civil war played an important role. In fact, the events in issue # 2 of the Civil War, the main mini-series involving the wall crawler set the tone for the entire passage. In this issue of civil war spiderman unmasked a conference press for the whole world to see.
The civil war was started by the Superhuman Registration Act, which required that all super-human, good or bad, to register with the government, therefore, expose and make known their identities secret. In a show of good faith Spider-Man during the Civil War took his mask in public to show its support for the act.
This occurred a little shocked the world of comics and the real world. Reported in newspapers and television programs around the world, people everywhere were shocked by the revelation that Spider-Man was making his identity known for the first time. As closely guarded as the secret was to protect its loved ones, was a bold move for spiderman. But in the civil war spiderman thought he was doing the right thing, but it soon changed.
Later in the civil war spiderman discovered what was happening with all super-humans who were arrested for refusing to register. They were locked in a prison in the Negative Zone impregnable, and not a trial but simply berated until they agreed to enroll. mentor Spider-Man, Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, was orchestrating this movement, and that spiderman sent over the edge. He turned in Iron Man and Captain America joined the revolution against the act.
The sides were thrown into a civil war, Spider-Man was Captain America, now, and they were fighting the good fight. The good fight, however, ended with Captain America being dead, and loved ones spiderman is in danger. Reflecting its black humor and dark tone of the civil war spiderman costumes worn the classic black Mary Jane had vowed never to wear because of its resemblance with Venom. The New Avengers were underground and the race, but the conflict was inevitable.
A major key players in the civil war spiderman for what he believed, and when he believed he fought to change that. In Spider-Man Civil War changed and became more than he was. This has been an issue throughout the life of Spider-Man: changing and growing as it gains experience and lessons are learned.
